Eric Andre attended Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida and after graduating he studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he played the double bass and graduated with a Bachelor of Music.

Eric Andre is best known as the creator, host, and co-writer of the Adult Swim comedy series The Eric Andre Show. He also played Mike on the FXX series Man Seeking Woman and voiced Azizi in the remake of The Lion King.

In May 2020, Andre announced his first standup special on Netflix, Legalize Everything, which was released on June 23, 2020. In 2021, he starred in the Netflix prank comedy film Bad Trip.

Aside from being known as a comedian, Eric Andre is also into music and performs under the name Blarf. Originally, Blarf was a band consisting of André and other unnamed bandmates, but it quickly disbanded.

Andre revived the name of the band as a solo act, yet still acting as a band, and released the album Cease & Desist through Stones Throw Records.

In February 2023, Eric Andre made headlines when he and his girlfriend, Emily Ratajkowski shared ‘naked’ photos themselves to celebrate Valentine’s day.
