KY3 News has recently revealed the sad news that meteorologist Abby Dyer is leaving the news channel. Get updated on what’s Abby’s next move in her life.

Abby Dyer is an award-winning meteorologist from Highland, Illinois, the United States, who has decided to get a job outside the television world.

Joining the KY3 First Alert Weather team in July of 2011, Abby will be leaving the show on the 1st of April 2022 to spend quality time with her family.

Abby has worked with KY3 as its meteorologist in the First Alert Weather Team for 11 years, and she revealed that the 1st of April would be her last day at work. KY3 even released a video of her talking on that matter.

The meteorologist further explained that it was not an April fool prank as she will have her farewell on April fools day, and she is also sad to leave the set. However, we respect Dyer’s decision and wish her all the best in the new chapter of her life. 

Where Is Abby Dyer Going?

Abby Dyer has got a new job outside the television world, and, sadly, we won’t get to see her on television anymore.

The main reason for Dyer to leave the KY3 is because she is relocating with her family, but she hasn’t revealed where she will relocate to the media yet.

Dyer is looking forward to spending quality time with her loved ones as she shared that her new work will allow her to stay home more and take care of her baby boy.

Even so, Abby has not disclosed the nature of her new profession. However, she has shown her gratitude toward the team and the news channel through social media posts.

Abby Dyer has a happy and loving family of three; she is happily married to Joseph.

Dyer’s partner is graduating from medical school in ophthalmology, and he is going to become an eye surgeon soon.

The pair are each other’s best friends, and they advanced their relationship by tying the knot in 2016 and celebrating their anniversary on the 4th of September every passing year.

Joseph and Abby have gotten blessed with an adorable baby boy named Alec. The couple welcomed their first child in 2021, and he will turn one in a few days, on the 29th of April.
