She had intended to compete in the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open, but after being offered the lead acting position in Paranormal Activity 4, she was forced to withdraw from the sectional qualification.

To focus on her acting career, she put off starting college at USC. She was considering joining the women’s golf team at the University of Southern California as a “walk-on.”

She starred in Ian Samuels’ 2021 film The Map of Small Perfect Things. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, she will play Cassie Lang.
