Guiu’s career began with the Penya Barcelonista Sant Celoni, a supporter group for La Liga team Barcelona.

He later joined Barcelona themselves for the 2013–14 season, advanced through the La Masia program, and received his first call-up to the senior team in June 2023, ahead of exhibition games against Vissel Kobe of Japan and Celta de Vigo.

In the later game, Guiu made his unofficial debut for Barcelona by replacing Robert Lewandowski at halftime.

He was once again called up to the senior team on October 11, 2023, for a La Liga match against Granada, although he ultimately did not play.

He was rated one of the top players born in 2006 internationally by the English daily The Guardian in the same month.
