Meet Eric Gordon’s Parents. American basketball player Eric Gordon is the Houston Rockets’ current shooting guard. In Indianapolis, Indiana, on Christmas Day of 1988, he was born.

He was raised in Indiana and was crowned Mr Basketball there as well as a McDonald’s All-American.

At the University of Indiana, he played for one season under interim coach Dan Dakich and head coach Kelvin Sampson.

Gordon was chosen by the Los Angeles Clippers as the seventh overall pick in the NBA Draft in 2008. Before being moved to the New Orleans Hornets in 2011, he spent three seasons with the Clippers, becoming one of the team’s most crucial players.

Gordon’s pre-existing knee issue was discovered not long after he relocated to New Orleans. Gordon spent most of his tenure with the Hornets/Pelicans dealing with knee problems and other ailments.

His parents and he are extremely close, and they have helped him through every stage of his life. They often come to the stadium to support him and watch his games.
