George Kittle parents-American football tight end, George Krieger Kittle was born on October 9th, 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin in the United States of America.

He attended Norman High School in Norman, Oklahoma, Cedar Falls High School in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Iowa City West High School in Iowa City, Iowa.

He made a commitment to play college football at the University of Iowa. Bruce Kittle, who was also a player at Iowa and a former college football coach, is his father.

Kittle, one of 19 collegiate tight ends invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, was a top tight end prospect. He finished most of the drills, but chose to forego the three-cone and short shuttle drills. Kittle’s overall performance was praised, as he placed fifth in the 40-yard dash, sixth among tight ends in the vertical jump, and third among tight ends in the broad jump.

Kittle, C. J. Beathard, Desmond King, Jaleel Johnson, Greg Mabin, Riley McCarron, and four additional players attended Iowa’s Pro Day on March 27, 2017. He finished his combine drills, ran positional drills, finished the short shuttle (4.55s), and the three-cone drill. All 32 NFL teams sent scouts and team representatives, including Jonathan Hayes, tight end coach for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Kittle was chosen by the San Francisco 49ers with the 146th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. C. J. Beathard, a teammate from Iowa who the San Francisco 49ers selected in the third round, was there to welcome him back (104th overall).

Kittle was given a four-year, $2.69 million deal by the San Francisco 49ers on May 4, 2017, which also included a signing bonus of $298,287.

In the 49ers’ season opener against the Carolina Panthers, Kittle made his NFL debut and caught five catches for 27 yards in a 23-3 loss. On the first drive, he snagged his first NFL catch on a 13-yard pass from Brian Hoyer and was sacked by Panthers safety Mike Adams.

In a 26-23 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts on October 8, 2017, Kittle had seven receptions for 83 yards and his first NFL score. Kittle caught three passes for 27 yards in a Week 9 game against the Arizona Cardinals before leaving the 20-10 defeat due to a leg injury.

With 43 receptions for 515 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games, Kittle ended his debut season. Kittle recorded five receptions for 90 yards in the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings, which the team lost 24-16. As the San Francisco 49ers lost by a score of 29-27 to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4, Kittle produced an 82-yard touchdown reception as part of a 125-yard outing.

The 49ers played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Pittsburgh Steelers over the first four weeks of the 2019 NFL season, and Kittle received the highest overall Pro Football Focus grade of any player in the league.

The 49ers played the Cleveland Browns after having a bye in Week 4. Kittle had six receptions for 70 yards and his first season score in that game, which the team won 31-3. He caught eight catches for 103 yards in the following game against the Los Angeles Rams, which the team won 20-7 on the road.

On the opening play of the game three weeks later against the Arizona Cardinals, Kittle hurt his knee and had to miss the following few plays. In the 28-25 triumph on the road, he came back into the game and caught six catches for 79 yards and a touchdown.

With a $18 million signing bonus and a five-year, $75 million deal with the 49ers, Kittle became the highest-paid tight end in the NFL on August 13. Following two games missed due to a knee injury, Kittle made his return in Week 4 on Sunday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles, ending with 183 receiving yards and a score as the 49ers fell 20-25.

Kittle suffered a calf injury and was put on injured reserve on October 9, 2021. He became operational on November 6. In a loss to the Arizona Cardinals on November 8, Kittle caught six catches for 101 yards and a score in his return game.

Despite missing the first two weeks of the season due to a groin ailment, Kittle achieved a career-high touchdown record in the 2022 season with eleven scores. Following a number of injuries, the 49ers rotated through three starting quarterbacks in 2022.

Kittle seems to connect frequently with the 49ers’ third-string quarterback Brock Purdy, scoring two receiving touchdowns back-to-back weeks in Weeks 15 and 16 against the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Commanders, respectively. In 2022, Kittle was nominated for the Pro Bowl for the fourth time.
