Sondra Blake was the first wife of Robert Blake, an American actor best remembered for his roles in the 1967 movie In Cold Blood and the 1970s American television series Baretta.

Sondra Blake was born in Los Angeles, California, on August 17, 1936. Her acting credits include Helter Skelter (1976), Of Mice and Men (1981), and Grown Ups (2017). Her first husband was Robert Blake.

Somewhere in the late 1950s, Sondra Blake and Robert Blake initially connected. It was not unexpected that they met through their respective acting professions as they were both performers.

After a performance Sondra was in Los Angeles, it was said that Robert, who had seen her in the play, went to see her backstage and they struck up a conversation.

Sondra Blake formerly served customers as a waitress at The Ash Grove, a coffee shop and performance venue on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, before her acting career completely took off.

Sondra Kerr, as Sondra Blake was then known, started her acting career in Hollywood in 1961 with small roles in The Tom Ewell Show, Thriller, and Gunsmoke.

Sondra Blake’s ex-husband Robert Blake passed away on March 9, 2023. He was 89 years.
