Real Housewives of Miami star, Julia Lemigova, lost her son, Maximilien, in 2000.

Maximilien who was just 5 months old, had passed away from a shaken baby syndrome while in the hands of his nanny.

The baby daddy, Eduard Stern, had allegedly hired the nanny, who eventually ran away for fear of being sent to jail.

Stern and Julia at the time had divorced and he was being accused of conniving with the nanny to kill baby Maximilien.

“I don’t know if I ever completely survived the loss of my son,” Lemigova said. “Part of me is dead forever. At the time, I simply didn’t want to live. Selfishly, I wanted to end my life so many times. I wanted to join my son”, a devastated Julia said at the time.

“I wanted to go away. In this horrible pain and through years of grief, I found joy in helping other people”, she added.

In 2005, Stern was murdered in his apartment in Geneva by his girlfriend’, Cécile Brossard.

Cecile served a five-year jail term for the crime.

Julia, who is a former Miss USSR, is currently in a same-sex marriage with tennis champion, Martina Navratilova.
