Amy Nicole Cobb is a former West Virginia nurse.

As per the 2016 reports, she was 31 years old. So, her age is around 37 at present. With that, she was probably born in 1988.

In 2016, Amy said that she was homeless and last worked as a licensed nurse practitioner in West Virginia. Apart from that, neither she nor any credible source disclosed anything including, her educational qualifications, parents, family, and professional career.

According to the 2019 reports online, Amy Cobb married her then-inmate Rachel Shoaf. Although many people talked about it on social media platforms like Reddit and Twitter, there isn’t any official confirmation. The comments are mostly negative.

Rachel and her friend, Shelia Eddy, were two teenagers in 2012 who murdered their former best pal Skylar Annette Neese on 6 July 2012. On 3 January 2013, the two admitted planning and murdering their friend. Thirteen days later, police found the dead body in Wayne Township, Pennsylvania.

They never revealed the motive behind the murder, but police did discover that the two murderers were in a romantic relationship at that time. Hence, the speculations.

The authorities charged Rachel with second-degree murder and sentenced her to 30 years in prison. As for Sheila, she faced first-degree murder charges and life imprisonment.

Amy probably met her partner in prison. As for the credibility of the sources that said they got married, there is no official document backing the claims. However, Rachel’s history of being in a relationship with another female is present. So, there is a good chance that it happened.

The police arrested Amy Cobb back on 12 March 2016 and charged her with credit card theft and fraud.

Bland County Sheriff’s Office Investigator J.M. Mustard’s criminal complaint stated that Laura Asbury’s live-in-friend, Amy, took her credit card and made three transactions worth $297.59, including two confirmed transactions of $232.09, at a Bland County ATM.

Amy later admitted to the accusations. Besides that, she also holds multiple criminal charges including, convictions for obstructing justice, petit larceny, driving on a suspended license, and more.

Although convicted for the charges, Cobb completed her sentence and got released on 17 June 2021.
