Who Is Duolingo On TikTok?

Duolingo’s TikTok account is managed by Zaria Parvez, a social media supervisor.

As a social media coordinator at Pittsburgh-based Duolingo Inc. (NASDAQ: DUOL), a freemium educational platform primarily focused on language learning. Parvez is responsible for the company’s TikTok account and the staff that manages it.

In like manner, Parvez is also the driving force behind the account’s recent meteoric rise to fame. Over the last month, it has received over 73 million views from its 25 videos.

It’s her first job after graduating from the University of Oregon in the spring of 2020 and joining Duolingo in June of the previous year.

Before taking on the job, as a user of the video-based site, Parvez was confident in her knowledge of what makes a great TikTok video after seeing so many of them herself.

The account, on the other hand, did not begin with that intention.

Big Green Owl And Its Features Explained

The big Duolingo owl is more commonly referred to as the furry icon and is light green in color. It is designed to represent knowledge, wisdom, and learning, and is comparable to the spectacled owl species in the actual world.

It constantly reminds language learners to work out on a daily basis. It has amused TikTok users with a life-size figure of its mascot in lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek, and generally unhinged movies.
