Jho Low was born on November 4, 1981, in George Town, Penang Island, Malaysia, as Low Taek Jho. He was born into a wealthy Malaysian Chinese Teochew family.

He also assisted in the formation of Red Granite Pictures and invested $100 million in the company. Despite facing criminal charges in both Malaysia and the United States, Low lives a lavish lifestyle.

He has a net worth of $150 million and is currently on the run.

Perhaps, he is living a luxurious life from the 1MDb money. He has the support of former PM Najib Razak. He stated that Malaysian authorities were involved in a campaign of harassment and political persecution.
