Sarah Jane Millican is an English comedian.

She was born on May 29, 1975, in South Shields, United Kingdom to Valerie Prince and Philip D. King.

Millican shot to fame after winning the comedy award for the Best Newcomer at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

She has featured on Michael Mcintyre’s Comedy Roadshow, David Mitchell’s panel show The Bubble 2010 of Frank Skinner’s Opinionated.

The 46-year-old from South Shields, Newcastle worked at the jobcentre until the age of 29, before pursuing comedy.
